Kuzbassrazrezugol (KRU), the largest coal mining company in Kuzbass, on the eve of Miner’s Day set the third world record of the year. In July the Kedrovsky open pit mine crew, equipped with Sandvik D50KS, drilled 43.4 thousand linear meters, fulfilling 206.7% of the monthly norm.
Sandvik D50KS drilling rig was put into operation at the Kedrovsky open pit in January 2019.
In the same month, KRU miners updated their world achievements in mining: the Kedrovsky crew on the EKG-18 excavator and the Taldinsky open pit mine crew on the P&H-4100 XPC excavator.
“These records demonstrate the highest professionalism of KRU miners, who are able to set the most ambitious goals and achieve the best results,” said the representative of KRU.
KRU is the largest producer of high quality hard coal in Kuzbass. The company incorporates 11 open pit mines and 1 underground mine. The annual coal production is 45-50 million tonnes.
