KRU confirms compliance with ISO management standards

The integrated management system (IMS) of Kuzbassrazrezugol (KRU) has successfully undergone recertification audits for compliance with international standards ISO 9001 (quality management system), ISO 14001 (environmental management system) and ISO 45001 (health management system and labor safety). KRU passed the certification of compliance with these three standards for the first time in 2010.

Three years ago, KRU successfully switched over to new versions of standards for quality management and environmental management systems, and in 2019, started to implement ISO 45001, which replaced OHSAS 18001. To solve this issue, KRU introduced a number of comprehensive measures, including staff training and the release of relevant documentation.

Based on the audit results, the Certification Commission concluded that the IMS of KRU operates in strict accordance with all requirements of ISO standards. According to the auditors, in order to develop its IMS, KRU employs tactics of continuous improvements.

The auditors praised the thorough approach and the constant search for new solutions by KRU to ensure labor and industrial safety.

The high efficiency of KRU’s IMS, which meets international standards, has received another documentary confirmation, namely, certificates for compliance with ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 45001: 2018 valid for the next three years.
