On May 27, 2021, the international conference «Argus Russian Coal. CIS and Global Markets» took place in Moscow, gathering representatives of more than 200 companies from 16 countries.
The event was sponsored by KRU Overseas, which is one of the largest international traders, supplying high quality coal of Kuzbassrazrezugol (KRU) company to the global market.
During the conference, industry experts presented forecasts of the dynamics of coal export volumes from Russia to Europe, South-East Asia and North Africa, discussed the prospects for coal demand recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic and modernization of the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM) and Trans-Siberian Railway (Trans-Siberian Railway).
The conference concluded with the discussion of innovative projects and environmental issues.
